Hundreds of Tiny Snails

These little guys have been in my tank for a few months now and aren't really growing. I thought they were baby Nasurius snails, but since they are still the size of a piece of rice, I doubt they are. They are fine, I think, but would love to know what they are. I don't ever really see them on the rocks....just the sand and, occasionally, the glass.

They are probably rissoids. They're generally considered beneficial, or at least harmless:
