hungry acan?

Hi RC I was just wondering is it normal for an acan to have it's feeding tentacles out basically 24/7 because that's what mine does

It is not unusual. I have quite a few and they are all different. I have probably two of mine that always seem to have the feeding tentacles out and ready to feed. There must be something in the water column that makes them think food is on the way.

Ive got some that do both. And i can assure u yhe ones that keep the tentacles out are not still hungry. They get hand fed daily, plus whatever they pull in during my night feeding

I have half a dozen frags and they all act a little different. Some have em out nearly all the time. Others only when they smell the food in the water and some only really extend after the lights go out. As long as they are open and puffed up, I wouldn't worry.
