got this coral from Lfs and it is ravenous this is it's first victim an innocent blue legged hermit crab

a week later it ate an orange chestnut snail

I agree, spot feed it meaty foods. But they'll never stop eating your hermits and snails. I've had my lobo for around 2 years and he is responsible for the death of at least 20 blue leg/scarlet hermit crabs and at least a few small snails. Mine is well feed but if food of any kind presents itself he'll seize the opportunity.
