Generator check + gas for generator. Making sure battery air pump is working. Freeze bags of water for temp check.
Definitely keeping an eye on this storm.
Turn the key on my diesel 25 kilowatt generator...disconnect from grid power by flipping the main......flip the knife switch on....from the genny...burns less than 1/2 gallon an hour...powers whole house just like grid power...had to run it for seven days straight after Irma..last year....never missed a beat....Kuboto motor and generator head from Jacksonville Power ...is an awesome piece of machinery .....pretty quiet also....runs at 1300 RPM....nice to have A/C in Florida after a storm...as it always seems hotter......and diesel is always available after the storm....I keep three 55 gallon drums of fuel that I rotate during storm season....12 volt transfer pump...and you are good to go....after hurricane season...I pump it into my truck.....until next year! LOL
I would think fish can last at least 24 hours without power if the temperature is right. People ship fish all over the world in small bags. I think flow is the biggest issue for corals.
