Hurricane impact

I was watching the news this evening and it looks like the projected path of Ivan goes directly over the beds in which TBS keeps its rock. I got to wondering whether or not TBS had experienced a hurricane directly over the beds (I know Frances traveled directly over the owner's beds - I'm talking about the rock!).

If there has been one that went over the rock beds,

- which one was it?
- how powerful was it when it passed over?
- what damage occurred to the rock in the beds?
- and how long did it take for the rock to recover?

Funny I was thinking the same thing.......will these affect the next few weeks of orders (heath of rock)? I plan on getting a package next week (if TBS is open).

Looks like the west FL coast will be spared this time........but still best of luck with the weather and high surf!

I am starting my first tank and a friend ordered the TBS "Package" and was quite pleased so I attempted to do the same last week. Richard from TBS wrote me back over the weekend and said that they were "down" and will get back to me when they can dive again.

So I guess they took the hurricanes pretty hard and are possibly out of stock but I really don't know - I'm new to this. I can't wait to get my first shipment!

Richard said the water was mostly too murky for them to see in. Hopefully it will be clearer at least until the next one hits.
