Hurt juevanile Maroon

So i put the new juevanile with the female, the juevanile in a tupperware floating and she eventually got bored. I then released him at night and she didn't seem to care so it all seemed to be going well. I woke up this morning and everything was fine, but only the blue lights were on. 20 minutes later the white ones turned on the the femaole went ballistic on the male and he is currently swimming but has only one full fin. So i guess im going to try and save the little guy. What dips should i do... The tupperware is clear but its a clear blue so she seems to think its like another dimension or something maybe, since she ignores him when he's in there. She is ****ed since I moved rocks and destroyed her home.

Blah i thought i was in the clear but found him upsidedown being pushed between 2 rocks.

The method i used was the soda bottle method.

Cut a small hole in a 2L soda bottle big enough for the fish to swim in and out of. Place fish in bottle and bottle in tank after acclimating. The juvi will swim out when it is ready.. until then, use a dropper to target feed him through that whole.


He might never swim out (they usually do). Dont let yourself decide when a fish is ready. Think of it this way... Do you speak fish?

Gatorkiddo I think the juvie will be ok just protect him and keep him segregated until he gets better then try again. Maroon females are nasty.
