what paramerers do you get for freshly mixed HW marinemix salt. i just tested a fresh batch and this is what i got
Salinity: 35ppt
Alkalinity: 7.0 DKH
calcium: 450
PH: 7.0 (same as my fresh RO water)
i buffered it with sechem 8.3 buffer than tested again. the only differance was PH was up to 8.3 and alkalinity was up to 9.0 DKH. did i get a bad batch of salt or does everyone just buffer it before they put it in the tank?
