Hydor 500 vs Sicce 3

I have a 55g tank with a Hydor 500DC. It's almost at the lowest level and it turns water over fast.

My 40g system uses the Syncra 3 and it's noisy as hell.

Was thinking about buying another Hydor 500 for the 40g (Reefer 170) and tying a manifold in for the reactors.

However on paper the Syncra is 700gph. In person, it feels like the Hydor is more powerful.

Anyone done any comparisons?

I went with a pump they had on reefbuilders recently. I started off with a sicce but it was loud as heck.
