Hydor Controllable #6 - Low speed issues

I have a single controllable #6 on their basic wavemaker. It all works fine unless I set the minimum towards the low side. Then it seems to almost go in reverse and never comes out unless I turn the wavemaker off, then on. I was just wondering if anyone else had problems with the wavemaker when the pump was set to minimums and what, if anything there is to resolve the issue.

Recently picked up a second pump. When I got home today, they were both in reverse.

Just got my Wavemaker and Pumps back from Hydor. The Mag 6 was bad, but they couldn't get my Mag 7 to go in reverse. They replaced my Mag 6 with a Mag 7 at no charge. So now I have matching Mags. Hydor was a pleasure to deal with. About as good of service that I have received from Tunze in the past.
