hydor koralia nem safe?

Is the little grid around the intake of hydor koralias good enough to keep a nem out or are they still at risk of committing suicide through powerhead blending?

yeh in my girlfriends tank, her BTA got sucked up into a koralia nano. it just happend to wana put its foot on the powerheard. as said by clowns101 any powerhead is a risk. you can try a mesh over the powerhead to try and prevent it. i did it to hers, but then she got a LTA and i took it off the other nite kas it was dirty and we didnt see a need to keep it on, the powerhead is on the other side of the tank

My #2 ate my RBTA. Put a sponge or a panty hose around them until your nem settles down.
