well if you thought it wasnt true it is.... my GBT got sucked in my koralia nano.....destroyed most of the body but I guess part of the mouth survived cause he is regenerating and moving around the tank. I havent tried to feed him yet but I think I will soon. I know power heads are usually the demise of free roaming anenomes. But has anyone else had a similar outcome with the koralia?

happy reefing

my RBTA made it completely inside an K-nano and survived. it came back 100% and had almost no tenticles let when i got it out of the pump.

In any tank with an anemone, care has to be taken with equipment. In my BTA tank, I use a granpa tooth style overflow so the anemones can't get sucked into it; the heater is outside the tank, and water movement is done by a vortech with a foam guard over it.

When you have a fish that jumps you have a cover on the tank. When you have an anemone you need to take precautions.

i completely agree with your logic noboddi.....but I guess I was just naive and thought the koralias were kind of anenome proof.....guess I thought wrong

I was amazed they could get sucked in such small opening myself. Luckily he survived.

yeah mine the disk has completely reformed but he only has half of his tentecles.......and he is only half the size he was before
