hydor koralia vs. GBT
well if you thought it wasnt true it is.... my GBT got sucked in my koralia nano.....destroyed most of the body but I guess part of the mouth survived cause he is regenerating and moving around the tank. I havent tried to feed him yet but I think I will soon. I know power heads are usually the demise of free roaming anenomes. But has anyone else had a similar outcome with the koralia?

happy reefing

well I knew they were a little safer than your standard power head......my GBT split a week earlier and one half stayed put and the other started wondering all over....I might be setting up a tank for the GBT only since they wander so much

I used plastic needlepoint mesh to surround mine. They make an egg shaped one that nicely fits the end, too. I did that to a K3. But I think nems are just so gelatenous, that any of those powerheads need some kind of protection.

I find that if they can find a spot with good foot protection they tend to stay put. What was their footing like?
