Great question gasman059. I would als like to hear comments. Is the picture of that tank yours. If so, what size. Looks great

just ordered a pair of the 3's. Fostersmith gets to me in two days most times. I will post a review in this thread once I have played with them.

Dr. Foster and Smith sent me review units, I will get in tomorrow. I will post pictures, reviews, specs, etc at link removed which is my blog.

on a wave maker? or as a wave maker?
or a timer?
Like a Red Sea Wavemaster Pro Wave Maker

I just ordered a # 3 -

Do ya'll think it's enough for a 50 gallon? Maybe two is better - but at these prices, it's not a money issue at all........

They are AC. Can't be run on wake makers that shut on and off, but will work on the SEIO controllers which only adjust speed.

Some folks said they're pretty big, but I'm interested to hear some reviews.

You can read a thread about them here

Whats the reason for them not running on the Red Sea Wavemaster? Thanks

I posted this in the other thread. I emailed Hydor about the pumps, and this is what they responded with

I just recieved this email:

Hello,

The Koralia should hit US retail in February 2007.

The first to have it will be Drs. Foster & Smith.

The Koralia will work great on any controlled that will just slow the impeller down and speed it up. The Koralia is not recommended for stop/start wavemakers.

Sincerely,

Hydor USA, Inc.

They didn't say why, but I'm assuming it has something to do with premature wear on the pumps.

does the ball joint have a set screw, or is it just a friction joint? I'm a little ticked I just bought 2 seio's a few months ago.
