They didn't say why, but I'm assuming it has something to do with premature wear on the pumps.

i own a seio 620 and im using it for now but it is a horrible pump compared to my nanostreams. i love my nanostreams but these hydors are nice looking i guess are they not made of Lexan like a nano stream no does that really matter maybee. are there any other controllers/wavemakers out there like the SEIO, that slow the impeller down and speed it up, also work with these new pumps?
