Hydor magnum pumps

Can anyone tell me how there hydor magnums are working out? I have a 72 gallon tank and purchased a magnum 6 and was wondering what people think of them. Recently i had a hydor 4 which burned out after about 10 months and hoping these new magnums will be better. Thanks

Ehhh, the Koralia powerheads are starting to losing their appeal. 170$ for a hydor pump, I would rather buy a Tunze, or Vortech.

I am talking about the new Koralia Magnum power heads. Does anyone have experience with them rather than just speculation?

Just recently added a magnum 6 to my 180. 1 mo ago to be exact (Thanks Mike at JOJO Aquarium---excellent price) i am extremely pleased. i've attached it to a wavemaker and have no start/stop noise at all. Flow rate is great and the PRICE was just $119. I'm going to get two more one next week.

What kind of wavemaker? I think i shoud have ordered the magnum 5 instead of the 6. I wanted to make sure i had enough flow considering this would be the only powerhead in my tank.

i personally dont have any, but i know a couple how have different ones. they all approve and no problems
