hydroid elimination?

I definitely identified hydroids living on areas of my live rock. Should I attempt to eliminate them? If so, what is the best method(s) to do so. Thanks all

They will probably cycle out over time. Very dependent on the nutrient load (DOC) in the tank.

I've been contemplating doing a bit larger water change every two weeks. Might as well put it into effect. I get slime algae outbreaks every now and again, so I've been trying to adjust my maintenace schedule to deal with the elevated DOC.

Tests kits don't show much, but algae doesn't lie

What kind of hydroids, can you post a pic? Depending on what you have water changes will probably not rid your tank of them.
