hydroids id?

i bought some corals off a guy and he said they had feather hydroids on them and that these are them, but i cant find anything that look like them except clove polyps.

nope... not Hydroids..

most probably Blue Xenia

could also be clove polyps. Definitely not hydroids.

its not blue xenia for sure, i have some of that and this stuff i was (told) was feather hydroids covers like star polyps and clove polyps. looks like some type of clove polyp as well. the guy was breaking down his tank because of these they covered his whole system. they dont seem to sting other corals. and they dont look like hydroids to me. but like i said he was breaking down his whole system... just want to know for sure what they are.

looks like an Anthelia family

Not hydroids, just corals.

If they are joined at the base, they belong to Stoloniferan family; coul be either a kind of anthelia, clavularia or any other sort of glove polyp. I vote por anthelia, i've got a dwarfsome kind of it in one of my tanks.

i dont think they are hydroids either. just wish i could find a picture online somewhere of them. so i can id them exactly.
