HYPERsalinity dipping live rock

Has anyone done this before? Trying to transfer established live rock from my old tank to a new one. Does it kill the beneficial bacteria on the liverock? I mainly just want to get rid of this gigantic bristleworm hiding inside. That and I also would prefer not to go through a cycle with the new tank.

If you know what hole hes in you can pour some club soda on there and it should flush him out. Is it a bristle or eunicid?

I'm pretty sure bristle. Pink with white bristles. Not exactly sure how big it is, but from what I've seen he's pretty thick. Maybe even 1cm wide, I know that bristle worms are beneficial but has anyone dealt with bigger ones? Would they be a problem later on?
