Wow, amazing pictures! What camera/lens combo are you using?

The clown is amazing, I love snowflakes. The yasha also looks awesome, along with the maxima/star pic! I had actually never heard of a few of those damsels before seeing your tank, beautiful additions.

Thanks alot ange. Im currently using canon t2i and most of those were taken witht the kit lens. The macro shots were taken with an old school tamron 90mm macro.

Your tank looks great!

But just a few points of constructive criticism id like to point out...

1- IMO, you have WAY too many fish in their. To keep them all long term simply isnt gonna happen.

2- with 2 MP10's and the return pump, you must have WAY too much flow for that seahorse?!?!? It too will die soon.

And again, this isnt meant to be an attack of anysort. Just my $0.02 of what im seeing.

thanks for the constructive criticism.

1-I agree its a bit overstocked but most of the fish are pretty small. The tang will be removed once it outgrows the tank. As fish outgrow the system or if there are any issues with aggression i have every intention of removing them.

2-Well the return pump is only pushing 160gph and the MP10's are dialed back considerably. The seahorse doesnt have any problems navigating the tank. Shes actually a year old already and has been in this system since the beginning. She eats very well twice a day and is in very good health. Thanks for the concern.

Sounds good. Im just so surprised as i used to have a 60 cube (24x24x24) and the most fish I ever had in it at onetime was 7 and I thought that was way too much

Looks great!

does that harlequin shrimp not go after your starfish?

also, i was reading that alot of people keep sea horses in cooler water. yours is normal temp though right? any problems with disease?

very beautiful tank btw.

Thanks I agree with you it's totally overstocked but I'm going to continue to try my best to keep everything happy and healthy

Oh the harlequin is in the refugium portion of my sump while the starfish is in the display.

Well hippocampus Reidi is comfortable in temps from 77-79 degrees. My tank is kept in the 76-77 range and i also run a uv sterilizer just to be safe.

Thank you

I mean it.

BTW speaking of fish - what a great advantage in your tank, the openness: You can actually catch fish and remove them when necessary. Many tanks, mine included, that's simply not a realistic option.

Thaks dixie. Yea thats one of the things i love most about this tank is how easy it is to add and remove livestock.

Can you post a picture from a distance? I told my wife this is what I want to do but she wants to see the stand and the hanging lights before she gives her blessing.

This is one great looking tank! Keep up the great work!

...and when you get the time, keep the pics coming. We won't get tired of them; I promise. :D
