Hypo all new arrivals in QT

I have a Royal Gramma in QT right now and he unfortunately developed ich and I am in the process of putting him through hypo. I was wondering if ALL of my new fish should be in hypo for 6 weeks just in case. Does anyone hypo all of their fish while they are in QT. I wish I had, because the RG doesn't look to good right now and I am afraid I'm going to loose him.

I hypo everything the day of or the day after I get them. They have always faired well.

Hypo is only good for ich, not velvet or flukes.

But in that six week time you are QTing than you will see the velvet or flukes appear than you can treat accordingly.

I use hypo QT as a std practice ... as others have suggested its not a "cure all" and if you have amylo, brooklynella etc you need to modify but I have found that hypo doesn't have a downside and I can always alter the salinity and use other measures as required.
