Ok, my hippo, scopas, and 2 f perchs have been in qt for a bit over a week, hypo to 1.010. I do still see spots on the scopas and hippo, do I use the treatment (Kick ich) while they are in the hypo qt? I wish there was a quick fix for this crappy ich stuff!

Give it another week or so. Treatments of any kind are only effective during one stage of the life cycle. So, to be sure to treat and kill everything, you will need to treat for at least 6 weeks. That way you can ensure all stages of life have been effected. As a side note, kick ich is basically useless. An Ionic or chelated copper, and hypo are the only proven methods for treatment.

I say give it another week or so to see the VISUAL sign that there are no parasites on the fish, you will still have to leave them in for another 4 weeks to ensure success.

So I am reading that it is ok to go with both hypo and copper? Also, copper is safe with Tangs? I am SO confused!!!

Well, I treat using both, some say it has ill effects but I haven't found that to be true. Copper is not that great for tangs, but I haven't found many ill effects, some say liver and digestive damage can occur. I haven't found a solid study on that though. If you want to be on the safe side and you are only treating ich, than hypo is good enough. I always start with hypo until that I find there is something else that needs to be treated than I add the copper.
