hypo salinity or copper

in a fish only or a mixed tank wich is the best treatment for ich i know no copper aroud inverts or corals i have ich in my 46g bow fish only i normaly treat with copper but i heard that hypo is a better treatment and what is the best and the least amount of stress on the fish

I would not use either in the presence of liverock, sand, or any invertebrates.

as steve mentioned ,the treatment will destroy anything living in the tank..although i had most of my hermits survive.

in a true FO tank, I would recommend cupramine copper treatment for 3 weeks. hypo is a bit more hit or miss IME.
