Hyposalinity Process for Adding a Fish on an existing QT with Fish

I've read a number of Hyposalinity process but one thing that I don't see is how do you add a new fish to a quarantine tank that's under Hyposalinity process.

Assume fish A is in QT tank and undergoing Hyposalinity. At the first drop of the fish, the salinity is at 1.025. Then from day 1 to day 4, drop it to 1.009. Observe for 4 to 6 weeks. Do the usual water change, PH buffering, cleaning.

So let's say on day 7, you want to add another fish in the QT tank? My assumption is you can't just drip acclimate them to the QT tank. YOU MUST create another QT tank and do the process over. Am I wrong or correct? So technically this QT becomes a hospital tank.

first thing, when you place a new fish in qt, your qt time clock resets and 4-6 weeks start again.
now back to your question, fish can handle drop in salinity much better but raising it needs to be done slowly. you can bring the new fish and temp acclimate it and then fast drip it into lower salinity within 30-45 min.

Adding a new fish restarts the clock.
IMO Hypo is a 'high maintenance' QT method. You must get it spot on to be effective.
As an ich cure, take a look at TTM instead.

That's a good alternative. I've just read it now in detail. I've read about an article about it being barbaric the other day. I was 50/50 on that person's opinion. I just think it's more barbaric not to do anything to help your fish.

It looks like the TTM is a better solution for my schedule.
