ok well I made my 6G nanocube into my QT tank

inhabitants are one true perc and two TINY blue tangs

one of the blue tangs came in ich infest

now is it ok to put the two healthy fish through hypo along with the sick fish?

to be honest the blue tang looks like it's going to be a goner, only things he has going for him is that he swims well and eats

You NEED to get a larger qt tank...I had to read this twice to make sure I had this right
I had 2 tiny Hippo's in a 30 gallon and unfortunatly, one bullied the other so much, I had to get a 55 for them to finish out the qt. I don't care how tiny they are, this won't work for long,, 6 gallon wouldn't be enough room for one.

Now, if the Hippo showed signs of ich while they were all in the same tank, they ALL need to be treated

I might switch to a copper treatment, under the circumstances of it being heavily infected AND there is a second tang involved. Use the nano as a sump or refugium, but not a QT. :)

stick to the question

otherwise i will end up flushing one tang down the toliet

I answered your question, as did Leebca
With this kind of attitude, you shouldn't have fish at all

I wasn't going to bother. . .But you've inspired me Kim! :D

Is vthondaboi threatening us? It's the first time I think a fish has ever been held hostage for information. A terrorist aquarist? That's a first.

INFO OR ELSE: :fun2:

I asked for those experienced, not those with too many nonsense posts to count

read again..I said ALL FISH MUST BE TREATED
All the fish have been exposed and though they may not show it, they may now have ich... sooooooo I presume my answer is YES treat the healty fish

...Now, could you please step away from the toliet and release the Tang back to the tank!!:D

Lee is an expert...as well as Terry and Steve. You basically shot yourself in the foot, might not get anymore help in here for a long time.

Anytime I need help from someone saying bigger tank then I'll post on RC for sure!
