I am happy

I just thought I would throw it out there....

As most of you know, I'm at school in Tallahassee (yes yes, haw haw haw clown college, insert anther not funny school competitive joke here) for all of fall and spring, so I don't get to see my tank much. The part that I'm happy about (aside from it being still alive) is the fact that my calcium and alkalinity have stayed at 400 and 9.9 respectively with nothing but RO/DI topoffs and the occasional pellet food feedings. I'm amazed that the calcium reactor has kept up so well, so now I'm a Deltec believer. Thank you Rogger for your suggestion and recommendation and everyone else's help getting it set up and dialed in.

As a result of that great product, all of the frags from the frag swap that I picked up have attached and grown into the liverock, and many have exploded in size. Now my acroporas are growing as fast as my montiporas have historically grown. I'm very impressed. Next thing to tackle is color improvement, which I'm going to try with new VHOs (current ones are almost 3 years old now) and my current 14k, then a doser pumping in amino acids, then maybe 20k if I get desperate.

Thanks to the the club and ReefCentral and all of both's members for helping me making a rockin' setup :)

You're very welcome. I was tempted to call and see if I could come see your tank since I was stuck down in miami an extra 2 hours because my mom was visiting a friend and didn't want to leave until later.

I'm glad to hear that they're doing well. Just one more thing to be happy about :)
