After thinking about doing an NPS tank I am graciously bowing out. I am amazed at the dedication to daily feedings, and complex nutrient systems you control so well. I love the look of your tanks and appreciate being able to browse your builds and look at the neat rare form of this hobby. I would like to thank everyone for the helpful information.

Sometimes I think people on this board are insane, including me. We could have a nice reef tank(lps, sps, etc), but we choose azoox crase. Why? I don't know, but I do enjoy my azoox tank more then my stick tank( sorry for short reply, water change time again)

I remember the first time I saw a thread with a fridge feeding system, I thought that was silly to have any thing that took that much effort to care for. A year later here I am one of the silly ones.

If I were to guess at the one most prevalent trait us "crazies" share, it would not be our desire for a beautiful tank (though NPS corals are very often among the most beautiful corals) nor a masochistic need for a tank that requires tremendous care and fuss. It would be our desire for new frontier within the hobby and the challenges, adventure, and spoils that are gained in pursuing it. Realistically, anyone who can successfully keep the more challenging nps corals and filter-feeding inverts could easily produce (given time and money) tanks that you typically find posted as TOTM. However, I would guess that many of the regulars in this forum (especially including myself) are just bored of the look of the tanks shown in TOTM; which in most cases all seem so very similar.
