I arrive in town in 10 days!!! NEED HELP

Come over and I can get you about 20G, maybe a little more, tomorrow mid afternoon-evening time. I wouldn't be able to pick up the container(s) to bring them over there(neck is messed up still). Or if you can get the water separately, I could lend you the 50G worth of salt no problem.

I'm just glad grog had extra tanks around for us to get the fish into, as much as it sucks it was very amusing in a glad I'm glad it isn't me way when those ballast got taken out and water just gushes out of them. Was just pouring down on us when we were moving stuff. I hope you get everything worked out and together.

PM sent

Where is a decent LFS in this part of town -- Southeast???

Not looking for a place with outstanding corals, just one with supplies at a decent price.

At least I convinced him to take the water, rock and sand out first !!

Take all the credit why don't you.... :D

Glad to see you made it Ray - Sorry to hear 'bout the setup woes, it'll come around. Sounds like there's a great group of reefers down there.

SITC(Sea in the City) is relatively close to you and is a great store for quality products and Marcye(the owner) is a super person. There is also Exotic Abyss down by the theme parks...used to be Saltwater reef. They are pretty cool.

What specifically are you looking for(new ballast)? If it's a 250W, I could let you borrow mine for a few days or a week or so.

I'll be headed your way in a couple of hours. I only have containers for about 20g, but can bring some salt if you need. I sent you a pm.

What other supplies do you need?

Thanks for all the help!!!! I finally have enough to get things going.

My ammonia is now almost zero and nitrates are coming down as well so I will be adding stuff tomorrow (too tired tonight).

BOTH of my ballasts are working just fine. The timer that I used with them is fried though, but that is small in cost in comparison.

Stay tuned!!

good stuff, hey I think i left my umbrella in the garage near the door to the house, also if that anemone of yours ever splits remember your good friend jsl6v8 :-)

Well, been a long 2 days, but the tank is finally up and running with all inhabitants in place!!!!!:bounce1:  :bounce2:

Have a few casulties so far though. There is one staghorn frag that looks really bleached and may not make it. Small birdsnest that was not doing so hot before the move and this may have done it in. There is another SPS that broke up a bit and I now will soon (hopefully) have 4 new frags that came off the mother colonies for the next frag swap!!! Good for trading!!

Other than that, everything made it. Found my starfish and hermits. My aneones look awesome and everything seems to be extending polyps. May have to move a few things around to adjust for light/current flow.

New pics will be coming soon.

Thanks for all the help from everyone, both in Illinois and here in Orlando!!
