I came to a rather interesting DIY realization today...

So I was thinking...Those of you that know me know that I was a HUGE DIY guy before and and spent tons of time in research and design to build stuff. I was trying to figure out why I just couldn't get motivated to mess with it anymore and it was then that I realized that the thousands of hours I put into R&D and building equated to a bunch of time I didn't have to spend dealing with that schmuck job I was married to! :-P Life's so good these days that I don't need to force my attention elsewhere and I've gotta say that feels pretty good...Anyway, I start a new job next month making a crapload more than I am making now so I really look forward to setting up a new system and I will most likely be BUYING most of my stuff this time :-) There will definitely be a build thread as I get it going...

Heh- thanks guys....Chad- $10 says you get hit by a bus today :-P

Yeah I'm a few weeks from being done and starting another job. I'm gonna stay in the reserves for another 15 or so...

From what I have read LOL you need a welder to do it, sooo I am going a differnt route. I plan on building a suare or pyramid one and see how it does.

BTW I'm glad you found happyness and all, but I still love my DIY.LOL
