I cant decide 220 or 300

The owner is a Dutch guy also would say mid 50's ,... Also difficult for me to get hold of but he is a gentlemen , and is very proud of what he makes... They are old school that's for sure and they don't have Laser cutters, space suits and like to do things their way. He allowed me to go and see my tank.... And the shop ....Not state of the art but I whent with them because they have the same feel about them as life reef... Build it properly once , and don't fix it if it is not broken. You should consider their new bracing system using metal rods in place of glass, if you like it. There is something to be said about a trade craft and tradesmen doing it for 30+ years...

does that mean their shop isnt open to the public or only by appointment? I was thinking about going down there to talk to them since email and phone havent been very successful thus far... question about metal bracing... does it impact lighting by creating more shadows? im doing a lot of planning for my current system and my future system and the lighting is a huge part of it so im curious to know metal bracing impacts

In my opinion , glass bracing gets saltcreep almost immediately after you clean it , so your par through the glass is drastically demminished in that area I can actually see its effect in my coral. " considering I use t5 and kessil. The metal rods are thin so can't see this having a major effect. It also looks cleaner somehow. Not sure if they open to the public...try and find the mr saltwater tv video see if you like the metal rods...
