the out side ring reminds me of a flower aanemone but the inside look like a bta

I just picked one of those up today. I was ordering Stichodactyla Tapetum(Mini Carpets) and this is what the cherry picker for my lfs sent me. I will take some pics as soon as it settles. I just put it in after acclimation a couple of minutes ago. It is not like any of my other S. Tapetums. It has longer tentacles in the middle but has the same color outer tentacle ring as yours.

so are you saing it is a stichodactyla tapetum? or you saying they gave you something else?

I am saying they gave me something else. It does resemble a type of actiniaria. Somewhere along the lines of A. Elegantissma or A. Xanthogrammica (sp?). I just tried to take picks but the batteries are dead. Off to Walmart.

FYI Actiniaria are commonly found in colder waters though.

so having my tank at 80 is gonna kill it or just might not be as healthy?

actiniaria means sea anemone
all sea anemones are actiniaria..without knowing exactly what kind of anemone you have ..not sure if its a cold water or tropical anemone. It looks like its ok..mouth isn't open, its not shinking and hiding so it must like the temp you have in the tank.

LoL, the picture of the anemone looks alike with my bubble tip anemone . It's a tropical buble tip anemone. You can find that in Indonesia, Malaysia or singapore sea. =P

Water tempreture from 27 - 28 celcius will be the best range for it.
