I.D Please

Some closer images would be helpful. I would take a stab on a few, but without being able to see any detail on the corallites, it would be a shot in the dark.

Here are some better pictures, HTH

Thanks in advance......

I'm not sure on #1. But I doubt it is either of the two species you listed. The branching just isn't thick enough in my opinion.

Yes, #2 is definitely Stylopora. Possibly S. pistillata

I agree with you also on #4 being Acropora divaricata

It seems like you are on the right track for sure!

I think #3 looks very similar to Acropora samoensis. The overall corallite/branching morphology and dome shaped axial corallites lead me to say this.

Judging only from the shape of the axial corallites of the last one, I'm leaning towards A. austera. That isn't much more than a guess though.

I agree with you that the first looks A. aspera like.

I doubt that the third is A. pulchra though. The corallites look far too thick and the growth on the unknown coral looks more digitate than arborescent to me.

Also, I'm not seeing anything resembling a rosette on the last one and the axial corallites don't line up with the "long and tubular" description that A. tenius carries.

I wouldn't put much faith in the suppliers list. Its rare that they will be fully accurate.
