I don't think joe's juice will affect it if it is a sponge. Scraping it will usually slow it down a lot. It will also let you get a better look at it from out of the water. Are you feeding phyto in your tank? My white sponges turned light green when I started doing that.

yes im feeding but just started doing it again..i like the green one , its the pink on im trying to get fid of..lol

Can you blow it off the rock with a turkey baster? It is difficult to tell what the one on the right is because the picture is blurry, but it looks a lot like Cyanobacterial mats.

They both look like sponges. A microscopic analysis of the spicules (structure spikes) is about the only way to truly ID it. But with that aside, I think that they will be just fine. They don't seem to be fire sponges, or you would have known by now. If you want to feed it, dosing phytoplankton is great. If you want to get rid of it, you can take it out of the water and take a hair dryer to it, inject it with nasty stuff (Joes Juice, Vinegar, Calcium Additives, etc), and a variety of other things. Really though, I don't think it will be a problem.

Travis the pinks ones branches break off an float arroung untill
it catches on smothing else.. if ya got zoas it WILL choke them out..an joes juice will kill it
