I.D these zoos please

not a dragon eye morph in any way, color or form, nor even a radioactive dragon eye morph in color or form

i could see it being a eye of rah morph, but its hard to amke out whats really going on in that pic

Fly guy that was my guess. The center eye is yellow and the middle of the polyp has what looks to be a"ray" lines coming from eye to outer edge of polyp. Does this help you on your guess. Another thing is, if i may ask. What do they go for ($). Just asking....Newbie here with zoos. Thanks PP

They go for $.25-$1.00 a polyp. Ive seen people post them for sale here like they were rare and asking $5 a polyp.......lol

thats how the zoa game goes though....

They can be nice though, espeicially under fairly high light, but they are super commons just the same and to give you an idea I sold a colony of 200-300 of them a while back for $50

WELLLLLLLl, May be thats not what mine is. They do not look like yours. They have to be something else. The guy I got them off of has been really honest and good to me with frags and stated that they were dragon eye morphs and he sells them for $8 per polyp on the web. I got them in a trade. conditions and lighting can morph polyps from tank to tank sigifigantly. Give me those poyps you posted and let me put them under my high lighting and I can triple the intensity of those white striations in just a few weeks

IMO dragon eyes are worth $2 max, and SOME radioactive dragon eyes are worth $1 max...if that. The common radiocactive dragon eye morph that comes in by the thousands on wild colonies from all the main distributors are worth about $.25 tops.

Those are common zoas you traded for regardless if they are the EXACT same as the ones I posted or not........and the guy is yanking yoru chain taking advantage of someone new to polyps

WOW... I dont know what to say. Pretty bumbed out at this point. I would like to get nice colored zoos and something nice I can grow to frag and sale and thought I may have something worth doing and to hear this sucks. I value all the members opinions on here and thank you flyguy for be honest. Thanks PP

To be sure...dont be discouraged. I posted what I thought to educate you a little...nto discourage you. If you like them that is all that matters. And we all have paid way mroe than some corals are worth at some point or another.

If you want some nice polyps for a decent deal pm delsol....he is super friendly and has this list of quite a few trustworthy places that are reasonable prices for lots of sweet polyps. he will forward it to you

you can also do a little homework in the feedback forum here in conjunction with the livestock selling forum and find lots of great hobbyists who will hook you up. Do your homework though in the feedback forum, and you can find lots of sure things from guys who have proved themselves many times over.
