I have a rock it has what appears to be a spider nest on it like a small webbing but now it has clear tubes coming off it any idea's i can not get a good pic of this
 
it started out like a small pc of cotton on the rock white fluffy did not pay to much of att but know they have small clear tubes coming off of them

Well what Rich has in his tank looks more to me like Tube worms of some sort. There are around 5 diffrent tubes sticking out from the several white fluffy areas. These tubes are Brite white at the moment. I have a vermitted snail and they don't at this time seem to be that. I didn't think about a sponge though. I'll have to research some sponges.
 
They are just a different type of snail.

Sometimes the mucous strands that they use to feed with MAY irritate some corals.

In general, they are harmless.
 
Rich,

A good close-up would go a long way to a positive ID but I feel confident that your critter is one of the 3 current guesses and all 3 are harmless.
