I felt like an anemone.

Which type, I'm not sure yet, but I spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital feeling like an anemone.

I went for surgery almost 4 weeks ago, and a week after my surgery I was readmitted to the hospital with a severe infection. Treatment? Cipro and fresh Salt-Water every 6 hours. :lolspin: I laughed a lot when they started up that treatment and they asked me why, and I explained.

They were shocked to hear that We give Cipro to our Anemone's for infections.


Anyway in the end, Cipro wasn't the right antibiotic and I got switched, and I'm home now, but I go everyday for IV Antibiotics for the next month until my infection is gone.

I felt like sharing this little story with you all for a good chuckle and also because my clownfish wont listen to my story and keeps tail-smacking me now that I'm back, I think she's mad I was gone.

Glad to hear that you're getting better. Thanks for sharing your story. I had a similar incident but on a much smaller scale. Something got caught in between my eye and contact lens that ended up infecting my eye. The prescription? Cipro ophthalmic solution. My wife told me that I was turning into one of my anemones and that I should watch out. Happy Friday!
