I feel your pain there! That's a stunning coral and tank. I would be really nervous even picking that up. How big is that watchman goby...I love them.

I would say a little over a year. It was magnificent! I should have taken a pic while it was out of the tank. It looks bad right now, but will grow back!

Thanks! I have a pair of watchman's, they are only a little over 2". One is more shy, and more yellow. The other watches the front door and has taken on some grey stripes.:D
If you look close you can see the smaller, more shy one in the cave.

Strange as it seems, when Carole tried to introduce a pistol shrimp, the goby killed it. I thought that was an interesting development as I've paired dozens and have never had any aggression whatsoever. Pairs are less inviting although I wonder if anyone has had luck introducing a pair with a pistol when very young and had them together for any length of time? Interesting topic to pursue....let me know. Marcye

Hi everybody..wow what a day! No Jeff{cootiebug}, that was an intentional fragging. It had just gotten too big. Too bad..I need a big tank so they can grow nice and big!! The piece in front of the dendro went to Chris..Floridafishman, for his help today with the algae project. Thanks Chris! The algae removal went well..thanks for asking Jeff{saltyj}..I did'nt get all of it, but a huge portion of it, and lots of detritus from the rocks. That's always a good thing. All the rest of the frags went to this redhead I know.;) :D
