I got my netting from bulk reef supply then I got a screen window frame from home depot. Cost about $20 to make my screen tops for my 65 gallon

Yup, screen kit from a home improvement store. The easiest way to cut it is with a hacksaw. You'll need the plastic corner inserts and some spline. The spline to use is the #1600, if I remember correctly. I just replaced my old covers with the clear netting and found this:

This thing worked just great. The advantage over the other kind is that this one feeds the spline itself and leaves your other hand free. We expect a photo of the finished product.

I just used the bird netting from home depot garden center and a screen kit that comes with all the pieces you need to make the frame.

The bird netting from HD is 1/2 inch. I've heard some people double it, but honestly, fish can jump right through it. Use 1/4 inch.

You would think lowes and such carry 1/4 clear?
