I get by with a little help from my friends!

In another thread the topic of tank babysitting came up, so let's continue it in this new thread:

When I go away for a conference for 4 - 5 days, either my wife or son can handle the daily routines of feeding and adding chemicals, emptying the skimmer, etc. But there was that one time when she put in a huge piece of seaweed in the tank and it slowed down the overflow so much that the tank.... guess what... overflowed! And she didn't know how to restart the mess. It would have been nice to have a list of contacts to help her out. I'd be happy to be on that list for Memphis members.

As my favorite cartoon quote claims: "Fortunately, I have my feathers numbered... for... for just such an emergency".

Count me in too. As everyone surely knows, I'm still a relative newbie but I'll be more than glad to help as I can. But with the separation anxiety I'm already feeling prior to next month's trip, I'll probably be asking for help before anyone needs my assistance.

hmmm...doesn't Richard pass close by my house on his way home from work?

It seems that I pass by lots of people's homes on Saturday on my way home. Ramiro, Steve, Robbie, Dave, Barrett.

I don't think people want me in their house while they are out of town. They may come back to an empty house...plus I like to run around naked in strangers homes while they are away. That way the next time I visit while they are home, I get amused just thinking about it.

Wow Richard ... I guess I'm lucky that my son was home when you came by my house while I was out of town. Or was he???? Hmmmm.... Next time you're over now I'm going to be watching your face for silly smiles.

Count me in on the contact list. I'm happy to help.
