In another thread the topic of tank babysitting came up, so let's continue it in this new thread:
When I go away for a conference for 4 - 5 days, either my wife or son can handle the daily routines of feeding and adding chemicals, emptying the skimmer, etc. But there was that one time when she put in a huge piece of seaweed in the tank and it slowed down the overflow so much that the tank.... guess what... overflowed! And she didn't know how to restart the mess. It would have been nice to have a list of contacts to help her out. I'd be happy to be on that list for Memphis members.
As my favorite cartoon quote claims: "Fortunately, I have my feathers numbered... for... for just such an emergency".
