I give up trying to get colorful sps

I use Coral Vital, Pohls Extra, and Sponge Power sparringly. Once or twice a week tops. PE is always noticeably better after dosing and color improved too.

Do you add drops to sump or zeovit reactor? sorry following along

OP just bumping this thread to see how things are going with your corals? Did you situation get better? How are things now?

Your corals are looking pretty good and it looks like your feeding regime and lighting adjustment are working. When I built my LED lights I went with a full spectrum setup which utilizes royal blue, blue, OCW, warm white, and 2 different wavelengths of violet. The colors pop is due mainly to the blue/violet end of the spectrum. I run my whites near 25 to 30% for color balance. Initially, I was running my warm whites too high and the colors were present, but not as vibrant as when exposed to a more blue violet spectrum.................Jim

Just an update to let you know how my corals have turned out.

A big thanks to the members on this forum I am so pleased how my aquarium has come along since I posted on here. I still can't get a good pic, it's just to bright to show off the true colours with my phone

Thanks all for the nice comments, it is thanks to the members on this forum and perseverance on my behalf that has turned my aquarium into something stunning.

Local marine keepers get in touch with me to asked if they can come and see it It is the look on their faces when they see it that gives me so much pleasure.

These are the lights I changed to, they are from eBay.
