Good pics with the new camera. Did you get the price difference back yet from it being on sale? Here is a link to my first pics. I also have a long ways to go with my digital education, but they turned out alot better than my other camera did.

I am now eying the 100mm macro lens by Canon. I can see this is going to be another expensive hobby. Have you seen the macro flash ring? Its pretty awesome, but its like $500.00 bucks!!

I also only have the kit lens, and I use mostly auto with manual focus so far. Your pictures look great - the picture of the fish is so crisp. Good luck playing with it, what an aawesome camera.

In all seriousness, I really like the first picture of the bike. The shiny chrome just looks cool. Here is a crop of a picture I took of my bike that gave me an idea for a future shot. The reflection in the chrome gives an interesting perspective. I'm sure you could get a really cool shot with a hot bike like that.
