My Part 1 for my 135g showed up today too!

After months of telling my family that the day was coming when I would actually be putting something besides water into the tank, today was the day!!

The very first bag of sand we opened had an abundance of tiny worms, stars and even a couple of conehead snails.

The first box of rock we opened had some kind of mollusk that has since been moving all over the tank. We have seen numerous crabs (though a porceline crab was found quite crushed in the bottom of one box, RIP...:-(..), numerous snails, two donkey kong cucumbers...too much stuff to list!!!

The family has been sitting around the tank ever since trying to one-up each other on finding critters.

I couldn't wait for the dust to settle to post some pics

I have no clue what the guy pictured above is, but it has been moving all over the tank, flipping itself up into the flow and cruising around. It looked like just a shell when we put it in

Richard - thank you for your wonderful product and outstanding service!! This package is so awesome, the family is absolutely thrilled and looking at me like I'm some kind of hero..*L*

Why anyone would want to purchase rock from anywhere else (and I have done so myself in the past) after seeing this stuff is beyond me. For shear "instant gratification" alone, Tampa Bay Saltwater rocks!!!!

Thant is a neat tank!

Your shell is a flame scallop.....pretty delicate guy.....tells you that the extra day in the shipping boxes was a negligible impact to the life!

Keep us posted!

It's been 24 hours since I added the package and so far there is no rise in ammonia levels. When I purchased rock from others, there was always a rise within a few hours of introduction.

I thought that was a scallop!! But I'm not a seafood person so I wasn't sure. He's perched himself on the back wall and is still open and showing his feelers. One of our daughters thinks she has found another one under one of the bigger rocks too.

Found one gorilla crab hiding in a hole that we will remove when we get the second part.

This has been an excellent all around experience and we can't wait for the second part of the package. My girlfriend is already picking out fish to put in the tank - of course they're all unsafe for reef tanks and priced in the three figure range, but I think it's so cool that she wants to be so involved.

Of course, she's taking credit for convincing me to go with TBS in the first place...*L*

Okay - it's been about 30 hours since we put the rock in the tank. Colors are starting to become more vivid, more snails are checking out their new surroundings - and we did confirm the existance of another flame scallop, but I'm not sure if this one made it or not.

This is the first scallop we found. It's made a new home on the overflow wall and seems happy so far.

This sponge took some damage during shipping, but he's really colored up and we're hoping for the best.

Part 2 Rocks

Part 2 Rocks

I've just spent 7 hours putting part 2 into the tank.

I'm beat. The tank is overflowing almost! *L*

I'll post pics tomorrow after it clears a bit and things get settled.

The package was truely awesome. What a great experience!!
