Yeah that's sad. There are a lot of famileys out there too that both parents work and are just hovering over the poverty line and not able to get any aid.
All I can really say about Katrina is that it flushed Americas biggest toilet. Most the people in that city were con artists already looking for handouts before Katrina hit.

Entitlement programs should be outlawed in every form!

It is however, how Democrats get elected.

That is why the rich keeping getting richer and the poor get poorer and we are losing are middle class which is what america is made up of. Which they middle there is no blue collar no working class.
