I had 1 BTA, now I have 3

I purchased my BTA approx. 6 months ago from a LFS. It stayed in one place for about 4 months until I messed with the water flow. It dissappeared behind a rock for a month and every now and then I would see part of here and part of it there. Then one day, I noticed this one part was all by itself. Then the next day, another part was hanging upside down on the other side from the host BTA. So in 6 months, I went from 1 BTA to 3, 30 finger corals down to 20 and one very happy maroon clown. Is this normal? I've heard of splitting, but not splitting again the next day!

BTW - When I purchased my BTA from the LFS, it was 4" in diameter and was sporting very nice bubble tips. I have not seen those bubble tips since. At the LFS, it was in a very dimly lit, sectioned invert tank. My tank has 1 - 400watt 20K Radium and 2 - 400watt 14K Hamiltons.

Most likely splitting as a means of self preservation. Need to check parameters and lighting. JMO.

I've done alot of changes to the tank in the last month. I've added a refugium, 2 Phosban Reactors (one for Phosban, the other for misc. use such as carbon, nitrate sponge etc.) and the 20k Radium bulb. Every 4/5 days I'll do a 6 gal water change. Been checking my parameters very closely. Maybe it is stress related.
