I had my first...nightmare about a tank crash

Had my first SW fishtank dream. In my dream I was living with my parents and left for several days. Came home and the tank was gone and there was a burned and melted spot on the counter. Turns out some repairmen used my powerstrip to plug in thier tools while they worked on the sink or something, overloaded it, the pc/mh lights caught fire tank cracked acrylic melted, fish and corals on the floor and electricuted. So they just threw everything in the trash except for a pair of clowns that they put in my freshwater tank (and were floating when I found them). In my dream I just sat down and cried looking at the burn indentation of where the tank was.

I think I need medication to sleep now.......

problem is with ambien I would find out I had been cleaning my tanks in my sleep.....which on second thought does not seem like such a bad idea!

That doesn't happen to me. I take one, and I have 20-30 minutes to be in bed or I'll stumble around like I'm way beyond drunk. Then I get a good night sleep. But then again, I also take Vic's and Soma.:spin2:

If you guys were lucky like me, you would either not dream at all, or at least not remember the hideous, life-ending nightmares that I MIGHT be having, but am lucky enough not to EVER remember....either way, I like to think I just don't dream at all....NONE....nope, not me

Man I stopped taking that ambien after I pushed my son out of his bed in the middle of the night! Sleepwalking, not to mention the hangover that took half a day to get rid of...nasty, nasty!

Having worked in hospitals for years (I'm an RN) I can tell you all that most people tolerate these meds great, and some turn into wandering, screaming, wild animal-people from Mars!!!!!

When Brannon had the Tampa Bay rock, I used to have nightmares about human sized mantis shrimp attacking me in my sleep. lol

I am happy to say I have some of that in my tank (about like 25 pounds or so) and I have 0, zip, zilch, NO mantis.....now the Gorilla Crabs are a real PITA....I just slayed number 14 last night....I think there is one more in there, but that may have been the last one.....I should know within the next few days....They come out at feeding time.....

Brannon had like 8 mantis shrimp and like 30 gorilla crabs. It was absolutely insane. I didnt freak out about the mantis shrimp until I saw one of them start slashing an anemone.

My latest tank nightmare was about bristle worms. He pulled one out of his tank that was over a foot long when it was stretched out, and I gagged. As good as they are, bristle worms are just so nasty to me. I dont care if they are 2 feet or 2 cm long, they are just...ugh.

ambien eh? That stuff actually works on some people? It just makes me 1/2 drunk for 30 minutes....then nothing

Nightmares suck! I hate waking up in a pool of sweat every night. Fortunately the trazadone and seraquel make me forget after a few minutes.


hmmm....human sized mantis....that IS scary!
