but i think its oretty funny. I was at Northbay the other day speaking with Tim about some items I was purchasing for clients of mine, and he gave me a permanent 15% (on all dry goods, including foods) discount. Not because of the club, but because I'm doing maintenance. I just think its hysterical that ceasers was so intimidated they took away my discount and Northbay's giving me one for the same reason. lmao:hammer:

On a differant note they're carrying Reef Nutrition now for quite good prices. I got 2 8oz. bottles (phytofeast and fuzzy phytes) for under $18! If anyone needs anything from there I'd be more than happy to pick it up for you.

8oz bottle? We only sell 6oz :) Good to know though as I don't keep up with new stores. I like being able to direct locals though, so thanks :)

Guy support Local Reef nutrition San Jose

I have been using the Rod's Food http://www.rodsfood.com/herbivore.html blend for at least 6 to 8 months and see great improvement in my Tang and Corals.
I do not see a comparable product, and this stuff is made in the USA.

Ingredients include:

Shrimp, Scallop, Oyster, Clam, Squid, Octopus, Perch, Green Nori seaweed (porphyra sp), Red unroasted nori seaweed (porphyra sp), Seaweed, Mysis, Pacific plankton (Euphausia sp.) Krill, Brine shrimp, Frozen red cyclops, Fish eggs, Oyster eggs, Golden pearls (all sizes), Broccoli, carrot, Garlic, Baby Spinach, Selco, Astaxanthin (Haematococus pluvialis), Beta-meal (Dunalliella Salina), Spirulina, Freshly harvested rotifers, freshly hatched baby brine shrimp.

Guy,
Rod's Reef is in Illinois not local and Reef nutrition has come and spoken at our meetings. They also have donated product to our raffle. They are coming to our December meeting to speak again and will surely donate more product.

Reef nutrition is now available at North Bay. The only point I'm trying to make is support the people that support the club.

I have purchased product from them online, and could use some tigger pods when he comes up, would also like to try Macro-Feast

I have rods food and reef nutrition. Rods food is easier to feed but reef nutrition is far superior in my tank. I bought oyster feast and arctipods at northbay. My corals and clams go insane when I target feed. I spoke with Tim shortly about the club when I was in there too. It sounds like we have some set products the club members would like to have stocked locally. I am sure Tim will see a lot of us now that he carries reef nutrition.

If you go in there to buy things, take the time to mention the club to Tim and maybe through supporting him he will help us out.

I personally feel I get great deals when I go to northbay. Tim is knowledgeable and like anywhere take the time to study your purchase.

Northbay is one of my fav lfs. Tim is a great guy and he really cares about each and every one of his customers.
Caesars on the other hand... Don't even get me started!!! Lmao! Like my mom used to tell me, if u can't say anything nice don't say anything at all...
