I have 2 hermit crabs dressing up for X-mas

Just noticed 2 ordinary blue leg hermits in my tank have added decorations to their shells. One has a small starfish on his shell & another has a mint green tiny ricordea on her shell. I think the "decorations" may have already been on the shells & the hermits just moved into them. It's cute

I glued some small frags to turbo snail shells a long time ago. After a few months the shells got so heavy that the snails couldn't carry them and they died. Corals ended growing over the shells and attaching to the live rock. Felt bad after it happened. Might be better to try with hermits.
