Pictured is the SPS mother colony. Under T5's it is orange-ish with a green tint (actually it is green closest to the light and orange-ish below). There are 2 frags of this available - 1 is a single about 1.5" tall, the other is a double about 3/4 to 1" tall.
The military guy I got this from told me while he was away overseas, his auto top off stopped working, his tank got low and the salinity got high. Part of this coral bleached toward the base. The frags are the tip ends of those bleached areas that I snapped off. They seem to be doing fine, and the tip ends I left on the mother coral seem to still be growing and coloring up further down into the base as well.
This coral started out as an encrusting coral, and began branching when placed under MH. In fact, the encrusting area has also begun branching under my T5's as well. I got this coral last fall, and the frags have been glued down for almost a month.
I also have a zoanthid frag available. It has approx 10 polyps and has a turquoise-ish center with bright orange lashes. It has also been glued for nearly a month.
I can't find my camera, so these are cell pics and do absolutely no justice to either coral. I would like to sell them for 10.00 per frag, or trade. I am looking for caulerpas, palys or other zoanthids. Would really love to find something blue. If you are interested, I can bring them to the meeting.
