i have a nassirius snail in a cup???

so i dissasembled my tank today due to a tank crash i had. all my inverts were dead except for one nassirius snail??? and while i was taking the sand out i seen him moving so i took a papercup with some sand and tank water in it and put him to the side. he's still in there but the tank is empty and now put away. i have no idea what to do with him, i don't even know how he survived. i have no one to give him to.. any advice is welcome!!

Are you planning on setting the tank up again? If not, you could give it to a local reefer.
