Is it posible to feed the baby clown fish with Oyster egg from DT?
It costly but is it small enough to feed the fly?

You can feed them, but will they eat?

Problem, is they need live food. I think it has to swim. If they eat the dead food, they will not eat it all, and what's left, will foul the water. Ammonia will then kill them.

Dead food has been tried before. I think the consensus is it is easier to culture rotifers than to try to raise clownfish with dead food.

that a good point but we alway use power head with frozen mysis to fool the fish before, so why can we use the same tactic to fool the fly?

Current will kill the larvae, unfortunately.

Clown fry are not very good swmmers until after meta, they would all eventually get sucked into the PH. I've tried raising a few batches using dead foods (ground CE) when I didn't have rotifers onhand and ended up with less than 5% survival on the good ones, complete losses on most.
