I have been vry bad

I have a situation, my water params in my 210 have gone to hell. It is my fault, not an unknown issue to battle. Our basement flooded about 3 months ago and we spent every night and weekend gutting it to the studs and redoing it completely. During the process, I completely neglected my tank other than feeding and top offs basically nothing was done, I know I know, it is not an excuse.

Anyway, I am now doing 15% water changes (35 gal) every 3-4 days (RO/DI water of course), I figure I wil keep that up for a month or so then go back to weekly water changes. I did loose some corals (I expected that) and my fire shrimp. What else shuld if anything should I be doing other than water changes?

Test your water regularly and hand remove any nuisance algae if possible, siphon out any loose detritis and perhaps change your light bulbs....it'll come back around if you stick to your regimine of water changes. Good Luck and Welcome to Reef Central 210reefer!! Tinman
